Abstract:

In the healthcare domain, efficient patient management is paramount. The project, “Predict Queue Waiting Time,” leverages advanced Machine Learning models to forecast waiting times in hospital queues. The aim is to enhance patient experience by providing accurate estimations, enabling hospitals to optimize resource allocation and improve overall operational efficiency. By analyzing historical data, the models learn patterns and variables influencing waiting times, facilitating real-time predictions. This predictive capability empowers healthcare providers to proactively manage patient flow, allocate staff resources judiciously, and mitigate potential bottlenecks, ultimately ensuring a smoother and more patient-centric healthcare service.

The project integrates seamlessly with existing hospital systems, employing a user-friendly interface for easy implementation. The adoption of Machine Learning not only addresses current challenges in queue management but also establishes a foundation for continuous improvement and adaptability to evolving healthcare demands. The Project Deep Blue Competition (By Mastek Ltd. India)

Participating in Mastek Ltd.’s Deep Blue Season 5 Competition in Mumbai during the tenure of 5 months (Oct 2019 – Feb 2020), I engaged in a challenging project that showcased my skills and innovation. Collaborating with talented peers, I contributed to creating impactful solutions, furthering my experience in cutting-edge technology and problem-solving. We were also allotted Mentors who guided us during the tenure inorder to build a realtime, industry ready product.
